Non-Taito Hardware

 

Description

The following games, Twin Cobra, Thundercade and Twin Eagle were developed by Toaplan and Seta, but were distributed by Taito in Japan. They are present on the official Taito history section.

These games are listed here, because they run on non-Taito hardware, and they could not be included on the other Taito 16-bit hardware pages.

SNK NeoGeo

Two versions of Puzzle Bobble exist (both from 1994), one runs on native Taito hardware, the B System, while the other one was sold as a cartridge for the SNK NeoGeo arcade system.

The NeoGeo version received worldwide distribution, but it is not yet known if the B System version was ever released.
