Stage 1 is more of a training level, it's a very easy stage where nothing can go wrong, perhaps designed to make first-time players adapt to the controls.
You start off on a free-way, with oncoming traffic on the left side, since this is the easiest stage in the game, experienced players often drive on the wrong side of the road, just for fun, but newbie players should stick with the right side of the road.
Then comes a little bit of thunder and lightning, no need to use the turbo here, since you're about to catch up with the suspect, and there aren't any dangerous curves or cliffsides on this level.
The target vehicle is escorted by a group of bikers, carrying molotov cocktails, you need to get rid of these guys before you're able to move in for the kill.
The suspect is not alone, there's a guy on the passenger seat shooting at you, this guy is presumably killed during the pursuit.
