Description
Third and final title of the Chase HQ series.
"The game opens with Nancy reporting a crime over the radio. The player must clear enemy fire and find the target car within the time limit. Locating the target car extends the player's time and the chase scene begins. The round is cleared when the target's car damage meter maxs out because of damage from repeated banging by the player's car within the time limit. Arrest the enemy and it's onto the next round. There are five action-packed rounds in all, from the west coast to the plains, mountains and urban highways of America." (Quoted from the game flyer)
Those areas include San Francisco, the mountains, New York, Texas, and Chicago. There are also a variety of vehicles the player drives in this game, such as the sports car, a jeep, and a truck. Enemies include the target, attack choppers, men on a train throwing dynamite at the player, punks that jump on the hood of the player's car, and more. There are also some obstacles, such as the San Francisco cable car, crossing trains, big rig trucks blocking the road, police barricades, and on-coming traffic. The player has to sometimes position the car to make it jump off ramps to jump over pits.
