Description

This is a side scrolling beat 'em up that is very similar to Final Fight where the player can choose between 3 fighters: Gear,
Kevin, and Zill. Gear is a Navy captain who moves slow but has great attacking power. His moves are similar to Haggar's in
Final Fight, but instead of having a piledriver, he has a suplex. Kevin is a well-balanced martial artist who does jump kicks
& has a jumping throw. He has a special mach punch that does great damage. Zill is a female martial artist who is very
fast and also has a lot of jumping and kicking moves. She has a backbreaker when the player seizes an enemy and
presses the jump button followed by the attack button. This game also has some cool features that Final Fight doesn't.
The player can block enemy attacks by holding the attack button and moving the joystick away from the enemy. The
fighters in this game also have combo moves as in
Street Fighter II & Saturday Night Slam Masters. Kevin's mach punch
& Gear's dragon screw are 2 examples of these moves. One final difference between this game & Final Fight is that the
first 5 bosses join the player as they are defeated. These bosses include Mevella, a whip woman; Chen, a Chinese sword
master; Gonza, a Japanese sumo kabuki fighter; Garuda, an awesome native American fighter; and Pharaoh, an Egyptian
fighter with quick attacks. This game is set on an enormous battleship that was secretly developed and is stationed in the
middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The main boss is Dr. D, who has plans to conquer the world by sending out his troops &
fighters. All 6 stages are set on the ship, and the map has a similar style to the one in Final Fight. Dr. D does have a
bodyguard that the player fights after the battle with Dr. D is interrupted. The stages include the ship's deck, which is
short, the garden pool, the funnel, the aquarium, a stage with a casino, bar, theater & disco, and the final stage deep
inside the ship in the control rooms and by Dr. D's throne. There are 2 bonus stages (as in Final Fight) between these
stages. In the 1st bonus stage, the player has to break 3 boxes within the time limit and in the 2nd bonus stage, the
player has to hit 30 clowns on the head with a hammer within the time limit. Another cool feature is that when the player
is knocked down & is low in energy, he is given a chance to fully charge up a power meter that appears for a few seconds.
If successful, the player's character gets up with a lightning charge and delivers powerful attacks. The game is over if the
player loses both lives, but he has a chance to continue by inserting more coins. At this point, he can choose from any of
the characters on the team up to that point. This game also has a versus mode where 2 players can choose from the 8
fighters and fight one another. After one loses, the other can continue fighting the computer in one-on-one or one-on-two
battles, or they can fight again. This game has many weapons, and some fighters (like Mevella) can only use certain ones.
Some weapons include knives, chains, grenades, footballs, rocket launchers, harpoons, oil drums, plants, buckets,
bottles, frying pans, spears, fencing swords, mallots, and more. The
flyer & more information to this game (in Japanese)
